Bidirectional Power Converter: A unique vehicle charger/discharger that connects a vehicle to the power utility grid. The BPC is intended for on-vehicle power conversion and is suitable for both residential and industrial settings.
Power Hub Controller: The heart of VPT-ES’ Integrated Energy System is the Power Hub Controller or PHC. It is installed in the building or home and interfaces with the grid, local energy storage, local energy generation sources and all plug-connected vehicles. The PHC coordinates the power flow to and from the utility grid as well as amongst all connected energy sources (e.g. wind, solar, microturbine, etc.), loads, and storage (e.g. PHEV).
