VPT Energy Systems Delivers Prius Plug in Hybrid Conversion to Breakell, Inc.

VPT Energy Systems has delivered a 2006 Prius Plug in Hybrid conversion to Breakell, Inc, Roanoke VA. The conversion in based on the Plug-in Conversion Corp. system which includes an additional 4.7 kWhr NiMH battery pack from Nilar and charging capability from a standard 110 VAC 15 Amp household outlet. “After 100+ miles of commuting the Breakell Prius PHEV is getting over 130 mpg,” according to Stan Breakell.
